Junior Software Developer (Backend)

Job Description

As Backend Software developer, you will be a part of a talented team to create our backend system that handles more than 10 million requests (and growing) per months. You will be learning Ruby Language with subsequent frameworks and cutting edge technologies.

Responsibilities

Be involved and participate in the overall application lifecycle
Main focus on coding and debugging
Collaborate with Front-end developers
Define and communicate technical and design requirements
Provide training, help and support to other team members
Build high-quality reusable code that can be used in thew future
Develop functional and sustainable web applications with clean codes
Troubleshoot and debug applications
Learn about new technologies
Stay up to date with current best practices
Conduct UI tests and optimize performance
Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve applications
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of designers, developers, Business team.
Follow new and emerging technologies

Requirements

List text hereExperienced in any programming language
Able to code basic HTML/CSS/JS/ReactJS to get the job done is a plus
Have a passion for solving backend logic.
Basic Knowledge in NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB) and PostgreSQL
Knowledge in caching (Redis)is a plus
Basic knowledge of microservices and service scalability
Love writing test specs
Know how to make gem (or gold)
Very good English both oral and written
